"National Bureau of Expertise" Ltd. (NBE) was founded in 1999 with the support of Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation with the aim to render wide variety of services to foreign and Russian companies in the field of industrial safety expertize, certification of industrial equipment, project monitoring during construction of hazardous industrial facilities and, primarily, during oil-and-gas fields construction in the shelf area of seas and during construction of oil-and-gas facilities.

NBE activity is based on close scientific and technological cooperation with leading scientific-research institutes, laboratories, classification societies and certification bodies, experts, as well as with ministries, authorities and supervisors.

In accordance with requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2001 standards in 2001 the internal system of quality management was implemented and is being continuously supported. NBE has licenses for carrying out industrial safety expertize of engineering devices and other documents, which are being applied at hazardous industrial facilities # DE-00-006783 and license for carrying out industrial safety expertize of project documentation at hazardous industrial facilities # DE-00-005612.

Rending services NBE applies a systematic approach to an enterprise activity estimation, including thorough analysis of the existing system and development of recommendations for implementation of modern management methods of quality and safety of production and services.
